Welcome to the Basic Kitesurfing Course! Throughout the six hours of lessons, you’ll have the opportunity to grasp the fundamentals of this exhilarating water sport. Here’s the detailed program:
Hour 1: Theory The first hour
will be devoted to kitesurfing theory. You’ll learn fundamental concepts regarding safety, ideal weather conditions for practice, necessary equipment, and basic techniques. Our aim is to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles before moving on to practical exercises.
Hours 2 and 3: First Piloting and Body Drag
Hours two and three will focus on the initial practical approach. We’ll commence with the first piloting, learning how to control and handle the kite. Subsequently, we’ll transition to body dragging, a crucial technique that allows you to be pulled by the kite in the water without using the board. You’ll learn to manage the kite’s power while in the water and move using your body as a means of propulsion.
Hours 4, 5, and 6: Introduction to Board Riding
The final three hours of the course will be dedicated to board riding. We’ll use the knowledge gained in the previous sessions to help you apply kite control as you prepare to use the board. You’ll learn proper stances, how to get up on the board, how to navigate, and how to handle the kite while in motion on the board.
Throughout the entire course, the instructor will be present to guide you, offer advice, and ensure maximum safety. Remember, kitesurfing is a fun activity but also requires concentration and adherence to safety rules.
